Yey, love it when I finish a painting! This one didn’t take too long, just the duration of my 2 week Brazilian trip. Though I’ve played with this frottage technique before, combining spray paint, pens n acrylic washes, this is my biggest one so far and I’m happy how it came out. “Shamanic Journey” was about finding meaning out of the chaos, both literally n figuratively. It’s not about visions I might of seen on the medicines I took, but an intuitive expression of how I felt here. Trying to build a peaceful zen bubble to protect my soul from an array of debalancing entities, that come at me from inside and outside of my mind. The inner work never ends and art is my tool to ground and give my heart a voice of expression. I give thanks to this process of growth, with its ups n downs, all is blessed.
